Ignacio Laxalde

Born in 1980, in Cnel. Vidal, (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Graduated from the degree in Image and Sound Design; and completed a postgraduate update in Audiovisual Documentary; (UBA Universidad de Buenos Aires).
Since 2011 until the present, he has been the Coordinator of the Audiovisual and Multimedia Area at the Institute of Ethnomusicology Research (IIEt) in Buenos Aires.
In 2004, he founded the film collective Humus. He co-directed and edited the feature films Basicamente un pozo (BAFICI 2009) and Los Hermanos Karaoke (BAFICI 2017); short films Composición para goteras (2012)
nominated for the Silver Condor Award; Plastiquito(2007) 1st Prize Fondo Nacional de las Artes; Al son el bici (2006) 2nd Prize TELEFE Shorts Fest. He edited the series Derechos Sagrados (2023 Canal Encuentro), Ser Esencial (2022 TV Pública) and El Porquetón (2013 PakaPaka).
